Woodland Animals & Creatures

These are fantastic for teachers doing units on hibernation or forest habitats!

Fall Mandalas & Intricate Designs (For Adults)

Sometimes, you just need to zone out. “Adult coloring” isn’t just a trend; it’s a legitimate way to lower anxiety.

I’ve included these Fall Coloring Pages specifically for mindfulness. The repetitive patterns allow your brain to switch off the “to-do list” mode and switch on the creative mode.

  • Fall Mandala with Leaves
A circular design made entirely of symmetrical maple, oak, and birch leaves. It’s stunning when colored in a gradient of green to red.
  • Fall Animals Mandala
Look closely! This intricate mandala features owls and foxes woven into the geometric design.
  • Pumpkin House Fantasy
A little bit of fairy-tale magic. It’s a giant pumpkin turned into a house, complete with windows, a door, and a chimney.
  • Autumn Night with Lanterns
This is one of my favorites. Glowing lanterns hanging from trees against a starry night sky. It’s a great chance to practice shading and light effects.

3 Creative Ways to Use Your Fall Coloring Pages

Don’t just color those fall coloring pages and toss them in a drawer! Here are three ways I like to repurpose these free PDF printables to get more bang for my buck (even though they are free!) :

  1. DIY Fall Greeting Cards:
Print pages like Cute Woodland Animals or Autumn Coffee at 50% scale. Color them in, cut them out, and paste them onto folded cardstock. Send them to grandparents or friends as a thoughtful “Hello Autumn” note.
  2. Thanksgiving Placemats:
This is a host’s secret weapon. Print the Harvest Table or Pumpkin Patch scenes on standard paper. Let the kids color them before dinner, then run them through a laminator (or use clear contact paper). Boom! instant, wipeable custom placemats !
  3. Faux Stained-Glass Suncatchers:
Use markers to color the Fall Mandala. Once you are done, take a cotton ball with a tiny bit of vegetable oil and lightly brush the back of the paper. It makes the paper translucent! Tape it to a sunny window and watch the light shine through the colors.

You can strictly use whatever is in your junk drawer, but if you want the best results for your Fall Coloring Pages, here is what I recommend:

  • For Kids: Crayola Crayons or twistables are king. They cover large areas easily on the Happy Kids or Pumpkin Patch pages.
  • For the Mandalas: Fine-tip markers or gel pens are essential for getting into those tiny spaces without bleeding over the lines.
  • Paper Choice: If you plan on using markers, try to print these on cardstock. Standard printer paper is fine for crayons, but markers can bleed through and ruin the table underneath (learned that one the hard way!).
